textile design job ?

If someone knows good way to hunt a job in UK, pls let me know.....I have been struggling.

By the way, I applied one work placement as graphic design job obviously.
However, somehow I have got offer as a textile design job.
My direction has been going different way with ignoring my thoughts.... However, this is still really interesting and I dont think i can do textile design in my future.
Its kinda fist time to do but probably last time to do as well.

Anyway, my website has been updated.

Helvetica VS Arial

I found one pretty good iPhone app.
The app is called 'Helvetica vs Arial'.

Helvetica is well known for all people and everybody loves it.
Helvetica typeface is kinda one of basic typeface in these days.
( I prefer Helvetica Neue by the way.)

On the other hand, Arial is not so popular even it must be known by many people. Arial is also default font in some computer.
The reason of people do not like Arial is because it is really similar to Helvetica and also it is said that Arial is kind of imitation of Helvetica.
Personally, I do not use Arial.

Anyway, This iPhone app is basically to distinguish between Helvetica and Arial.
This is kinda testing your eye how much detail you can be care.
This is pretty fun, especially for a graphic designer or a person who are into typography.

This is free app. Nice.

Please Let me write about music which I found.
These days, I am really into music which is dramatic, electronic, ambient, post rock, experiment music.

I want to put youtube here about musician called Cicada from Taiwan.
Their music is really narrative and dramatic.

This music is also really narrative and brilliant combination between electronic sound and cello.

Happy New Year 2011.
Hope everybody had nice one.

I have been illness since just before the christmas and it became really heavy.
In addition, I havent recovered yet.
A week has already past and been staying on bed in order to cure asap, but it seems never ever be cured....
my holiday has gone......

I will update more blog and works on my web when i recover completely.

iPhone

Before Christmas, finally Ive got an iPhone!!!!!
I had been planning to have it so long time.
I am really happy with iPhone and really have been enjoying with lots of nice application, especially related with camera staff although i have really lots cameras.

Surely, film is much better but still these applications works pretty well and fun.

Please, if someone know really recommendable application, any of them, please let me know. I am still beginner.

Recently, I have been drawing realistic staff for my work and I really felt that to draw something cute and pop quickly.
In addition, somehow christmas feeling.

I basically like black and white.
This is bit still challenging to use colour anyway. I wanna be good at colouring as well.

World's End Girlfriend

One of my favorite musician is called World's End Girlfriend.

Experimental, noise and post rock music for me.

His music is really beautiful but sometimes you can feel despair and destruction.

His music is narrative and gives us imagination.

I strongly recommend this musician if you like some experiment, noise or post rock music and also negative feeling sometimes.

Awesome and Brilliant.

UTGP 2011

I am really happy to announce this.
UNIQLO had a competition and my work has passed 1st stage which has only 50 designs left.

They will announce the 20 designs which will pass and they will produce to sell all over the world on February next year.
I really hope that I can pass.

I have been trying Uniqlo competition and this time was fifth time I think.
I have never won unfortunately. I feel I could do revenge with.
I really wish i can pass.

Please hope as well.

snowing snowing snowing london

Today, I went down to play with snow at greenwich park.
It was amazing there. Everybody were sliding down the hill with bended box and sledge. In addition, few people were doing snowboarding....amazing

I also slide down the hill with newspapers and bended box.

It was really fun to do with seeing beautiful view of greenwich.

I normally, dont like snowing cos it makes all transport jam badly.

However, it became nice on weekend n i had really good time there.
